Dee Jacobs is a 20+ year veteran of the retirement plan industry and a trusted resource with the qualified plans. Her passion is helping business owners to understand their fiduciary responsibilities as well as educating participants on their 401(k) plan. Dee believes that integrity and transparency are vital characteristics in this business and has demonstrated this in her relationships throughout her career.
Dee’s success has come from a vast understanding of complex rules and regulations within the qualified plans and breaking these down for participants to understand. She has excelled in providing leadership and strategic support for client satisfaction and retention of plans.
Prior to joining Cashman Consulting, Dee worked at John Hancock Retirement Plan Services as Divisional Vice President, Strategic Relationship Managers for the Pacific Division. She managed 12 Relationship Managers covering 5 states and was responsible for approximately 9,000 plans and $16 billion in assets under management in her division.
Her experience also includes work with a local Investment Advisory Firm and a local Third-Party Administration firm. Dee was also the Director of Retirement Plans for Starbucks.
Dee holds a Series 24 (General Securities Principal), 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) license as well a Life & Health insurance license. She is a graduate of Seattle University with a BA in Business Administration.
Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, Dee now resides in Seattle. Dee has a passion for sports and the outdoors. You will find her on hikes, kayaking or gardening in her spare time. She is an avid sports fan for her local sports team including Gonzaga basketball, Seattle Mariners and Seahawks. She also loves to travel, including international trips to France in the Bordeaux region.
